Power School Down

Posted Nov 6, 2008 | Category: News

Power School is “experiencing technical difficulties” and has been down all day; therefore, you will not be able to access the “Parent Portal” until the problem is resolved. If you’ve had problems signing on, it’s not a problem with your password, or anything you are doing wrong. Thanks from the administration for your patience.

Conferences November 24

Posted Nov 4, 2008 | Category: News

Fall conferences will take place on Monday, November 24. If you wish to schedule a conference with your student’s teachers, please contact Mrs. Powers in the Hauser office to request a time between 12:30 and 8:30 p.m. on November 24. You will soon be receiving a letter from Ms. Berman with more information. Conferences this year will be structured as parent-teacher(s)-student conferences. If parents want to have a private conversation with the team teachers, you will need to let the teachers know how you prefer to have the conference structured. (The administration is expecting that most conferences will be with all team teachers and will include students.)

Cleveland Family Benefit - Raffle Tickets

Posted Oct 30, 2008 | Category: News

Thom Cleveland, a Hollywood dad, lost his battle with cancer and passed away peacefully on September 3. Thom was self-employed and left behind his wife, Laura (housewife), and four children who attend school in District 96. The Clevelands have been very active in community events. A group of parents has organized a fundraiser (raffle) to assist the Cleveland family, and any contribution you can make to this fundraiser would be greatly appreciated during this difficult time for the Cleveland Family. Even if you are unable to attend the event on November 16, please consider purchasing a raffle ticket. There are several contacts to call to purchase a ticket, which are shown on the attached flyer.

Veterans Day Program

Hauser’s Veterans Day Program will be held on Tuesday, November 11, at 9:00 a.m. in the Hauser Auditorium. Students are asked to invite veterans or anyone who served in the armed forces to attend our program. We wish to honor our veterans and armed forces personnel. Students will introduce their guests at the program. A form will be sent home with the students, or you can download a copy of the form here. Please return this form to Mrs. Gill or e-mail the information to her by Wednesday, November 5. The program is more meaningful when we have veterans/armed forces persons present. Veterans are invited to attend a reception following the program in the LRC.

Mrs. Gill will be making an “HONORING THOSE WHO SERVED” display case. If you have pictures or small items (such as hats, medals, pins) that can be put in the display case, please give them to Mrs. Gill by Monday, November 3. Please label the items with your name.
