The 8th grade girls’ basketball tournament will take place on Saturday, December 6, from 9:00 to 3:00. Come cheer on our team! There will be concessions.

Registration for Otters swimming has been rescheduled to THURSDAY, September 25, 5:00 to 7:00 pm, in the main entrance lobby at Riverside Brookfield High School. See their website for more information: www.rbotters.org.

Clarification: Only 7th grade Girls’ Basketball tryouts were moved to October 21. 8th grade girls will try out on 10/20 as originally scheduled.

Due to the flooding, the Student/Faculty Volleyball game was rescheduled to Friday, 10/17. As a result, the Girls Basket tryouts, which were to be held on 10/17, have been moved to Tuesday, October 21.

Registration for RB Otters Swim Team, which was scheduled for this week, has been canceled because the high school is closed. If you want to register, please contact Laurie Risley for the forms.

Tuesday’s soccer game (9/16) with Komarek has been rescheduled for Wednesday, September 24. No word yet on rescheduling Thursday’s home game against Lindop (9/18), which has been canceled due to field conditions.

Tuesday’s home volleyball game (9/16) with Gross has been rescheduled for Thursday, October 2.

All sports events can be found on the Hauser PTA Calendar. Games times are generally listed as 3:30-5:00, but these are just approximate times. The actual start and end time depend on the arrival time of the visiting team.

Intramurals is an optional after-school program available for students in every grade. Students play competitive sports against their same grade peers for approximately 35 minutes. The activity will follow what is being done in PE class. Students do not need to sign up ahead of time, and may attend when it suits their interest and fits their schedule.

Following is the intramural schedule through February. The intramural dates will also be listed in the Hauser PTA Calendar (see left column), and the intramural schedule is also posted on the windows of the PE Department.
