All Riverside District 96 schools will be closed on Tuesday, Sept. 16th. All Hauser after-school athletic and co-curricular activities on Tuesday, Sept. 16, are canceled.

Due to unprecedented flooding, street closures and ComEd-mandated power shutdowns; the Village of Riverside public safety officials strongly requested that schools remain closed on Tuesday, Sept 16. District 96 will comply with this request and will close schools for one additional day — Tuesday, Sept. 16th. However, all staff (teachers, support staff and custodians) should report for work.

Due to unprecedented flooding, the District is complying with a request by the Village of Riverside public safety officials to close all schools on September 15. School buildings and school offices will be closed. Only custodial staff should report for work; other staff members should NOT report for work on Monday, 9/15.
