Come shop at Hollywood School PTA’s Holiday Gift Shop
Friday, December 5, from 3:00 to 4:30pm Hollywood School Gym
What is Hollywood School PTA’s Gift Shop?
It’s a jolly event where the Hollywood School gym is transformed into our very own Santa’s workshop. Hollywood students shop for gifts for family and friends during the school day. Friends and neighbors are welcome to come after school to shop too! Nothing costs more than $9.00 because our elves shop year- round for bargains. If you’re looking for stocking stuffers or a great place for your kids to shop, please join us. Cash or checks made payable to the Hollywood School PTA accepted.
Please contact Jennifer Perry with any questions.
The annual Food Drive is an important tradition at Hauser. This year the Food Drive will begin on Thursday, December 4 after school. Students are encouraged to donate food and money before school from December 5 through December 17. Checks must be payable to: Riverside Public Schools. Mr. Berwanger will be meeting with all students this week to discuss Food Drive procedures. Assistance unloading the truck will be needed on Saturday, December 6 and Saturday, December 13 at 10:30 a.m.
Salt Creek Valley Conference 8th grade girls basketball tournament will be held this Saturday, December 6, at Hauser. Hauser games are scheduled as follows:
Do you want a great chance to see one of your favorite teachers perform at the holiday concert? This week during lunch, you can put your leftover lunch money to good use. In the cafeteria you’ll see jars with your teachers’ pictures on them. Pick which teacher you’d like to see perform at the winter concert and place any amount of money in the jar. The teacher with the highest amount of money will do a special performance at the concert!
The Hauser Junior High music department will be performing their annual winter concerts on Wednesday, December 10 at 2:00 and 7:00 p.m. All of the band, orchestra and choirs will all be performing. The 2:00 performance will have a limited number of seats available for parents (about 40 seats). We hope to see you!
Please remember that Reflections entries are due the day we return to school after the Thanksgiving break. All entries must be received with complete entry forms in the Hauser office on Monday, December 1. Rules and other information can be found
In recognition of World AIDS Day, on Monday December 1, students in Hauser’s physical education classes will be walking “6000″ steps during PE class to symbolize the number of children who are abandoned due to HIV/AIDS. Since December 1 is the first day back after the Thanksgiving break, we need your help to remind your Hauser child to dress appropriately for this outdoor activity.
