Performing Arts Concert Tonight
Posted Feb 17, 2010 | Category: MusicThe annual Hauser Performing Arts Concert will be held at 7:00 tonight at the Hauser Jr. High Auditorium. Among those performing will be the solo contest winners in orchestra, band, piano, and voice, as well as other Hauser musical groups, and others who auditioned to perform. Please support our students and the Hauser music program with your attendance at tonight’s concert.
All Hauser piano students who take private piano lessons are eligible to enter the piano solo contest on January 26 at Hauser. Please see Mrs. Gill for an entry form, or download
Everyone is invited to the 5th and 6th grade band, orchestra and choir concert on Wednesday, December 2, at 7:00 p.m. in the Hauser auditorium.
Mark your calendars for Hauser’s winter concerts:
The Hauser Orchestra will combine with the RB Orchestra for the Festival Concert on Thursday, October 8, at 7:00 p.m. in the Hauser auditorium. Everyone is invited to attend! The program theme is “Heroes.” Pieces include Spartacus, The William Tell Overture and The Magnificent Seven.
The annual District 96 Music Faculty Recital, “A Musical Travelogue,” will be held Wednesday, September 16, at 7:00pm in the Hauser Auditorium. Donations will be accepted to benefit the Leonard Babb (instrumental) and Bruce Perryman (vocal) scholarship funds, which are used by Hauser students to attend summer music camps.
6th Grade Choir begins Wednesday! Any 6th grader interested in joining choir should come on Wednesday morning, September 2, at 8:00 a.m. Ms. Lynch will meet students by the front doors. 6th Grade Choir will rehearse every Wednesday and Friday morning. No auditions are necessary.
