Wanted:

Groups of 4-9 parents who believe they have some latent talent and have no fear of performing in front of hundreds of screaming adolescents. The group should be willing to costume themselves and prepare a karaoke act for an American Idol/Survivor style competition on February 23rd. The competition is a fundraiser to benefit Pass Christian Middle School - devastated by Hurricane Katrina. For more information, contact Kim Hefner at hefnerk@district96.org or call 447-3896.

January 24- 26: Hauser PTA Book Fair. Come to the Hauser Auditorium for a great selection of books for junior high kids including many new releases in paperback. All profits go towards book purchases for classrooms and the library. Hours are: January 24, 3-4 pm; January 25 7:45 — 8:30 am, 3-4 pm, 5-7:30 pm; January 26 7:45-8:30 am. Questions? January 25: Family Pasta Night. Join fellow Hauser families in the Hauser cafeteria for an evening of pasta and friends. All are welcome! The book fair will be open and we’ll be raffling off some great prizes. Tickets are $7.00/person in advance or $9.00/person at the door. Send your check, made out to the Hauser PTA, to the school office in an envelope marked “Family Pasta Night”. Tickets will be held at the door. Questions?
